Just the first book.
But then two-thirds of the books on my shelf, I have not read, nor have plans to.

When I was about 10 I loved those books so much and I went to a Lemony Snicket reading with my friend Quinn at a local theatre. There was a book signing at the end and Daniel Handler, you know, who comes and says he's Lemony Snicket's lawyer because he's all shrouded in mystery and everything, asked me what my name was and I said "April, and could you, maybe, um, forge lemony snicket's signiature?" and he did, with a wink and a flourish.

problem is, now I like Adverbs and Watch Your Mouth and would kill for Daniel Handler's real signiature.

I was re-reading Nine Stories by JD Salinger and I noticed one of the titles of one of the stories is "For Esme - with love and squalor" and one of the characters in Series of Unfortunate Events is called Esme Squalor and I just love noticing things like that. There's so many little things to notice in that series that every time you read it there's something new that you realize cause you learned something new inbetween readings.
