so, i'm currently trying to c&p all my fics onto my fic journal.

i'm winding down on my fest fics, i've only got one left to write for november, and one for december, so instead of starting my hrbb i decided to look on daily_snitch for more shit to join. and somewhere along the line i found a marauder big bang, which i don't have time to sign up for, but was going to because i had this great au idea about a not-evil peter and everybody's-a-werewolf.
but the rules say shagging must be for 18 year olds. dude, wtf? american consent laws off my canadian fanfic, plzkthx. so i can't sign up, because the marauders must be in their marauder era. there's fun happy marauder era time, depressing war secrets being kept time, and then everyone's dead or evil.
*sigh* maybe i'll just write two hrbb's? or maybe i should just write the first one before getting in over my head with a second plot? *rolls eyes at ambitious self* really though, signing up for every winter duedate fest worked, i'm nearly finished.
unfortunately my computer is being all shitty-lame. it won't let me turn it off, and for some reason i can't access my email account. i don't know if that's hotmail being shitty, or something wrong with the computer. which means i can't email the mods the fics i've finished. if it stays like this, i'm going to have to private post them here, then go to the library and try to access my email there.

Author's Notes: I had it set in 77, and the moon phase was fine. Then the beta pointed out it wasn't enough time for the characters to get themselves in the mess they're in. So I switched to 78, and only realised a day before this was due that the moon would now be on the 14th instead of the 25th, which completely messes up what plot there is. So it's still in 78, but with a 77 moon. Sorry.

i am so fucking addicted to my computer, i'm not even close to kidding.
so my dad picks me up from work on tuesday, and he's like "so, how do you change the contrast on the compter?" gala says "what for?" dad says "because when you changed it to watch your movie you didn't change it back, the screen is still black." gala says OMGWOT? DRIVE FASTER TIMMY, MY COMPUTER'S DOWN A WELL!

The rest of this week is going to be busy busy. Tonight I have to cut out mice for the stairs at my cousin's house. We're having a Halloween party on Saturday. Tomorrow I'm helping her with the cake and decorating her house. We can't put up all the decorations because some of them, like the skeletons, scare her son (he's three). Saturday afternoon we're all going to my aunt's house for pizza and we can see all the kid's costumes, then after Trick or Treat is the party. Sunday we have Norah's birthday party and the start of NaNoWriMo. Yikes.
In case you're interested, I'm going as Alice in Wonderland.

Had an AMAZING night at Charlie's Burgers, this underground, invite-only supper club in Toronto. It was a Scotland-inspired menu, with beer pairings instead of wine, and was one of the greatest food experiences of my life. Mingled with the greatest assortment of people (we made friends -- and nerded about Star Wars -- with a group of bankers!), and the food and beers were incomparable.
I would talk more about what was maybe the best weekend of the year so far (Met Audrey Niffenegger! Drove to Ottawa for pizza!) but I am super-tired and not sure why I'm still awake, so I'll save that for later.
